Warranty Overview
Imperial Grass Limited ("we", "us", "our") provides this warranty to the original purchaser of our artificial grass installation services. This warranty is subject to the terms and conditions set out below.

Warranty Period
Both the grass warranty and the workmanship warranty are valid for 15 years from the date of installation. The warranty period commences on the date your artificial grass installation is completed and signed off. You will receive confirmation of your installation date and warranty start date upon completion of works.

What Is Covered
Subject to the terms and conditions of this warranty, Imperial Grass warrants that:
- Manufacturing defects in the artificial grass materials
- UV degradation beyond normal wear and tear
- Significant colour fading not caused by external factors
- Seam separation due to installation defects
- Base and sub-base failure due to installation workmanship
- Drainage issues caused by installation defects
- Edging and border failures due to workmanship
What Is NOT Covered
This warranty does not cover the following:
- Weed growth – Despite all our efforts to prevent weeds from growing through proper membrane installation, weed growth can occur and is not covered under this warranty
- Damage caused by improper use, misuse, or negligence
- Damage caused by pets, including but not limited to digging, chewing, or scratching
- Burns, cuts, or damage from sharp objects, chemicals, or fire
- Damage from extreme weather events (flooding, storms, lightning)
- Normal wear and tear in high-traffic areas
- Staining from spills, rust, or other external substances
- Damage caused by third-party modifications or repairs
- Moss or algae growth in shaded or damp areas
- Movement or settling of ground not caused by our installation
Maintenance Requirements
Important: To maintain the validity of this warranty, the following maintenance requirements must be met:
Mandatory Annual Maintenance
A minimum of one (1) professional maintenance service per year must be carried out by Imperial Grass to keep this warranty valid. Failure to complete the required annual maintenance will void this warranty.
Recommended Maintenance Schedule
For optimal performance and longevity of your artificial grass, we recommend:
- Standard use: At least 2 maintenance services per year
Pet Owners – Special Requirements
If your dog uses the artificial grass as their toilet area, we strongly recommend professional maintenance at least every 2 months to maintain hygiene, prevent odour build-up, and preserve the condition of your lawn. Failure to maintain adequate cleaning in pet areas may affect warranty claims related to odour or deterioration.
Making a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, please contact us with the following information:
- Your name and contact details
- Installation address and date of installation
- Description of the issue
- Photographs clearly showing the problem
- Proof of maintenance services completed
We will assess all claims within 14 working days and arrange an inspection if required. Our decision on warranty claims is final.
General Terms
- • This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser at the original installation address.
- • This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under consumer law.
- • Imperial Grass reserves the right to repair, replace, or refund at our discretion.
- • Any replacement materials may differ in colour or specification if the original product is discontinued.
- • This warranty does not cover consequential losses or damages.
- • The warranty period begins from the date of installation completion.
